I'm currently a freshman at Purdue and I wanted to know the minimum GPA that is required to get into the undergrad Biomedical Engineering program.I currently have a bad 1st semester GPA (2.98) (as I arrived late to university). I want to know if I can get in with a GPA of 4.0 next semester..

<p>The BME school looks at a lot of things. BME is pretty tough. My roomate from freshman year was placed on a waiting list and didn’t find out if he got admitted to the BME program until end of summer before our soph year. 2.98 isn’t too shabby. But getting a 4.0/doing well in your 2nd semester chem and engineering classes would definitely help. My roomate’s GPA was around a 3.4.
I would talk to your advisor if I were you about it and inform them/get guidance.</p>
