Carnegie Mellon
USC
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UCI

Thanks in advance

I would say not to retake the math 2c if I were you just in case you don't do as well. 750 is a really solid, amazing score, and schools really won't care if it's a 770. I think once you are 750+, schools don't really care. I think you have a great chance at all those schools, but being a high school senior, I have no basis for any opinion:)

KShuai:

UCB/UCLA: Match
UCI: Safety

Thanks. Anybody have any clue as to the privates?

UPenn ED- accept/waitlisted
NYU-accept
Claremont McKenna- this is tough, i know a few kids that got in. so i'll say accept since you have high SAT scores. make sure your essays and recc are good though
Carnegie Mellon-n/a
USC-accept
UC Berkeley-reject (well depending if your cali resident)
UCLA- reject
UCI- accept

p.s do you take AP courses? is your high school very competitive? high reputation?

Wow, way better than I expected.

I'm a california resident and my school is a fairly well known public school.

And in state our Constitution team has a pretty big reputation - we've gone to state finals every year for 17 years in a row - and won 3 times.

I've taken as rigorous a schedule as possible without giving up my committment to my school orchestra. I've taken 4 AP courses and am taking 4 more this year.

hate to do this, but... bump

haha i know who you are

Wait, how come his chances are high after his gpa is a tad low?

UPenn ED: tough call.. maybe waitlist
