<p>I'm a senior, contemplating SDEA.
Small Private school that has a good rate with ivies, not-so-good rate with Yale in particular.
Female, Middle Eastern</p>

<p>GPA -- 4.04 (weighted), 3.87 (unweighted), no class rank, upward improvement (all A's junior year) </p>

<p>SATs -- 740 WR, 680 M, 780 CR 2200, taken in March, taking again November. 800 American History 760 Math II, 730 Literature</p>

<p>AP's -- 5 US History, 5 Spanish Language. This year: AP Poetry, AP English: Short Story, AP English: Relationships in Literature, AP European History, AP Calculus BC, other classes rigorous (explained in report)</p>

<p>ECs --</p>

<p>Editor-in-Chief Yearbook (participated 3 years) -- large commitment, summers included</p>

<p>Columnist, 2 school newspapers (4 yrs)</p>

<p>Charity dance show (4 yrs)</p>

<p>Volunteer Camp Leader summer (4 yrs)</p>

<p>Founder -- successful chapter of social justice/non-profit organization</p>

<p>Awards -- National Spanish Exam, National Merit Semi-Finalist</p>

<p>To be frank: unlikely with your current stats. 2200 doesn’t pair well with your ORM status, and there’s nothing too nothing notable in extracurriculars. You have a shot if you do well on your retake, though! Aim for 2300+! Good luck!</p>

<p>And I’d have to agree with the above post, but 2200 is by no means an insta-boot. However, your ec’s aren’t especially great either, so I’d also say unlikely.</p>

<p>I’d say don’t let anyone get you down…it’s not like anyone knows what they’re talking about anyway.</p>
