i seriously doubt the accuracy of the replies on this board... i know ppl panick n they seek advice from ppl, but the fact is the colleges are ALWAYS random. i see people posting, say like SAT I 1400+ and people would say UCLA is a match. but look at now there are people who get 1470 and perfect SAT II scores and rejected by UCLA. so dont reply on those replies... its who you are and how you present yourselves and your liv es the colleges are interested in, of course they give a damn abt your scores but they dont determine where you end up being. so dont be disencouraged by the comments ppl you saying that which college is surely a no-no for you and so on.

i see your point
but I'm still curious how others think about the accuracy of this forum.

would you say that the stuff on this board is PRETTY ACCURATE???

if anything the pessimism/realism of some people on this board is the kick in the butt you need to work harder to achieve your dreams. i sure appreciate it.

and on the other hand, the support and compliments of some people can be what a well qualified applicant needs to calm him or herself down for the application process.

i agree with northrams...some of the people on this board (including myself) get so worked up over the college application process, a nice compliment about their stats or extracurriculars can really give them a reason to be a little more calm
