<p>okay i guess the chances of the first one are about 15% of the second maybe 20%
if you dont apply for financial aid at stanford otherwise it’ll be a lot lower. </p>
<p>i think 15% and 20% are abnormally high estimates.
with an increase in acceptance rate of REA, there will be about a 5% acceptance rate in regular decision.</p>
<p>personally, according to pure facts, your “stats” are lower than average.
with that said, there are many students like you who are admitted and many students with better “stats” who are rejected. but as an admit, i strongly believe they care about the person you are and how you will contribute to the stanford community.</p>
