is anyone else in this situation, where your scores are technically what you wanted but aren't low enough to automatically want to retake, nor high enough to automatically not?

math II-700
us history-720

math II-700
us history-720

here..(math2 def. retaking that one) ush-740
im actually content with it but um, a lot of ppl seem to have gotten 800s....or is it just me feeling that way

Yeah.. world history: 770

I'm REALLY happy.. but still not totally happy.

Math 2 - 700...I was hoping for 700+....but not really exactly 700
Latin - 680...it's not offered again until Dec and I'm doing EA!! ;-(

equilibrium...yeah.
not exactly the in between kind of score i was talking about.

it's not like i didn't review at all for mine. i did (as much as i had time to) and i really tried. i'm going for stanford rice and brown (and others, of course) so i'm kind of nervous my scores will be below average, but i don't think they'll completely shut me out.

am i right?

physics 730, happy yet a little sad, prolly retaking since im applying to engineering schools

what a coincidence! i took math 2 and us history and got 700 on math 2 and 710 on us.

I'm happy with math 2, but I can't decide what to do about my 710 on lit. This borderline is definitely the most annoying place to be.

If you are not applying to an engineering school, is a 710 Math II fine for top schools?

US history - 770 (wanted an 800, but clearly have been hanging around CC too often...)
Math II - 730 (didn't want to study, don't want to start...)

Still, I did better than I thought on math. =/

i'm definitely retaking my math, but is my 710 for US worth retaking?

I got an 800 in math 2 and 770 in US history. Was hoping for an 800 in US history but I'll live with a 770.

700 on Bio-E. It has a pretty harsh curve, but I still wish I'd done better.

730 Physics...

I might want to apply to engineering schools, so I don't know whether to retake or not...

so true, chemistry - 700. I told myself 700+ would be nice but an exact 700 makes me feel bad lol. But i am not retaking.

Retake both of them if you feel you can do better. There is no satisfied. It's either getting what your ultimate goal is or flaking.

Haha, yeah, I know that feeling. I got 720 on IIC and was like "WHAT? I can do better" and retook, getting a 750. -___- And even though I'm sure I could get an 800 with adequate prep, I'm just like "whatev, I'm done."

yeah I know what you guys are talking about... I got 700 on literature, which isn't necessarily something you can study for. I know I can do better if I learn some of those terms and stuff, but I'm not sure if it matters... arg

750 in Math II. Shoot me. If my score had been 10 points lower, I would definitely retake it, but it's right in the middle of the 700 range... so that's where my predicament comes.

I have the same question as Anonymous91. I got a 700 Math 2, but I am not going into science or math. I am taking two more humanities-geared SAT IIs in November (Spanish and Literature); assuming I do well on those, will the 700 in Math hurt me or will they just see it and ignore it?
