Well, I havent got my SATs back yet, but I have a 4.00 GPA, 12/520 Rank, an 800 on Math Level 2, and a 226 on the PSAT. Will that help narrow it down?

I actually was kinda interested in Duke, even though its warmer. Is the atmosphere too preppy?

Eh, it depends on how preppy is too preppy. As a general rule, people like to look nice, and most students care about their appearance. A rather large portion of the student body isn't that wealthy, though, and ~60% came from public schools. There's plenty of people here from the Midwest, South, and CA, and they balance out the preppiness. Personally, I come from a laidback public high school, wear jeans and a t-shirt/sweatshirt, and fit in just fine. It's a little preppier than Brown/Yale/Columbia/etc., but I'd say it's comparable it to Dartmouth, UNC, U Penn, Williams, Amherst, etc.

Cool, thanks for your help!
