Well looky what my school's Asian parents association did for us

Yeah, this.

Though the band is larger than most college bands.

Your school must have so many Asians. At this point, my school would have like 10 families in such an association. I swear we get less diverse every year.

That is so cool and useful. I wish my school would so something like that.

@Thiscouldbeheaven-

Seriously? Glendora? Ok I admit they have some sexy sounding bagpipes with those Scottish kilts and all but I still think Arcadia is better :).

And the drum major two years ago from Glendora… Joe Martin I think his name was, was really good.

Oh and I think we’re the biggest feeder school to Irvine, not LA. I swear every senior I knew applied to Irvine this year.

Srry guys, I dunno where Poizat is going to. I’ll ask around 2morrow.

@ Millancad- Yes, my school is about 60-70 % Asian out of about 3650 people.

I saw Glendora 4 years ago, apparently before the program director changed (I marched in the Antelope Valley Parade in Middle School). Arcadia was good then, but Glendora was just awesome.

Wow. I think this is kind of sad, but then again if it was done for my school there would be tons for our state schools (with their lovely 80% acceptance rates) and none for any actually good schools. (No offense to BSU, U of I, CofI, CSI, etc. Ok, there is offence intended…)

@ Heavn- You did? So did I!

I marched in '06 at Antelope Valley for middle school. I didn’t even know Arcadia ever went there.

Whenever Glendora plays “Scotland the Brave” (which is the song they play between cadences after they’ve passed the competition area), I always wanna get up and dance.

What school do you hail from?

@nemz1e- We’re not THAT big a school, we’re ONLY the 13th biggest/most overcrowded high school in america.

Oh and to whoever wanted to know where Poizat is going to next year, he’s going to Cal.

He turned down HYPS and Columbia and I heard UCLA as well.

I played there in '02, '03 and '04 with the Emerson Middle School Marching Orchestra.

omgggg that was so hilarious. :D

LOL wow… but pretty useful, I’d assume :P

Wait I’m confused about this. I’ve been using this for my school’s (the public Arcadia High School, not the private one). And apparently the OP is from the private one? Is this data for the public Arcadia High, or the private one? :o

EDIT: Well at least it seems like the OP is from the private Arcadia High, because our valedictorian this year is going to Stanford, not Harvey Mudd. Sorry for kind of seeming stalker-ish but I like seeing people from my school on here :)

Hmm, I didn’t know there were two "Arcadia High School"s.

lol… good point
I guess not…
But the OP is from Arcadia Christian I think o_o

Umm hey Bothwings, I put in “Arcadia High School” on the search function and this thread came up.

Oh BTW HT7334, I might see you next year because i’m transferring to AHS from La Salle High School and I’m a sophomore.

cool! :)
but the problem is with 3600+ students you can’t really count on that :frowning:
especially now that there’s construction everywhere and now all the hallways are just crowded with people and no one really pays attention to anyone else anymore…

^ Yeah, I’ve kinda noticed that from riding my bike around the school during the weekend these past couple of months.

I heard about how big the school was from my math tutor, who graduated in '01. He said that during his grad ceremony he didn’t know/haven’t heard of like 30% of the people. I went to FMS, so I guess I kinda have a vague idea from my friends

kabump…
