Stanford
JHU
Northwestern
Cornell
Rice
Duke
Washington University St. Louis
USC
University of Rochester
Case Western

You have good chances at all of those schools. Your geographic location might cancel out the fact you’re Chinese. ( I feel the pain too.)

get your essay proofread by a professional, at the very least a close teacher or mentor, and you should be golden. good chance at stanford and wash u and i’d be surprised if you didn’t get into everything else.

middle school doesn’t count towards anything except maybe your essay

Stanford - reach
JHU - high match
Northwestern - match
Cornell - high match
Rice - low match
Duke - match
Washington University St. Louis - match
USC - low match
University of Rochester - low match/safety
Case Western - safety

If you want, you could strengthen your application by improving your SAT score, you can easily improve 50 - 60 points

Thanks! Will chance back if you guys post a link to your thread!

You’re good candidate, although asian (me too) ORM, but as said geography is good.
