Well, the EE deadline is today...

Okay, I have a couple questions first of all, I misread the deadling for the arts supplement and sent it in this week. Will that count against me or cause me to be unable to apply EE?

Also, was the finaid deadline today?

Okay, now chances again. Any tips on how to improve them (before Feb!) would be appreciated!
gpa: 3.4
SATI: 1340
SAT II: 780/680/640
ECs: STRONG, my interviewer was amazed at them for some reason.
Lots of music stuff, orchestras, chamber music, solo, teaching, performing, volunteer, etc. Averages 120/25 hrs/week
Model UN (officer)
French Club (VP)
political involvement/volunteer
literary arts magazine

I am fluent in French and have studied German, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin. I've also lived on 3 continents, does that count for anything?

My recs should be good, maybe even excellent (since I haven't seen them I have no idea) and my essay was considered extremely strong. My interview went very, very well (though I must admit that I was baffled as to why she liked me so much).

So, advice? Tips? Flat out help? Oh, and answers to the first questions are appreciated!

Wellesley is choice #1, of course! I can hardly wait for February.

Arrrg so many chances threads here. How do you think anyone would know? Let's put it in perspective: My dd has 3.75uw/4.0w, 1490 SATI, higher SATII's, very competitive HS, 6 AP's extremely strong EC's (science research) and leadership, some of the best rec's from her school, and she considers Wellesley a long shot/strong possible.

You should be happy that your interviewer was so impressed with you and take it as a signal that you are a great candidate. I think your facility with language is extremely important and I hope you wrote about it. Gifted musical students are always a plus.

What tips do you need? One I can think of is to be more specific in your EC's--they are good but sound a bit generic. Be sure to give a power packed one sentence line explaining your involvement.
