Well this is awkward...

So the other day I was super excited to get an official-looking envelope from Henry&Leigh Beinen School of Music. I'm applying RD, so I knew it couldn't be anything THAT exciting, but any mail is good mail at this point, right? So I opened it and inside found a very helpful Audition Guidelines booklet with info on requisites for all instruments along with a very nice (form) letter from the tuba and euphonium professor.

Which is nice and all, except although I do play euphonium in marching band, I am auditioning on Double Bass, my primary instrument. Is this worth contacting someone and fixing? Not sure how they thought I was low brass... The only time I would have possibly put baritone as a secondary instrument is when a speaker came to my school junior year. When I visited in the spring of junior year and when a speaker came my senior year, I'm certain i put just Double Bass on the info card. Maybe it's just a coincidence that I just happen to play the instrument they sent the (otherwise incorrect) letter for... Thoughts?

contact them.

If you’re ever in any doubt about something official, don’t hesitate to contact the school. It’s not much more effort than posting here, and the potential payout is orders of magnitudes greater.
