HPME Prospective Students Home
So everytime I try to press "Information Request," at the bottom of the page, my computer blocks it and says that the server is extremely unsafe and i should "definitely not proceed." But I really want a brochure for HPME! I already requested a general campus brochure, so what should I do? Is anybody getting the same message as I am?

Same here. Try using a proxy server.

uhhhh, whats a proxy server? :P

This may have to do with the fact that the campus is closed today, due to weather conditions. It’s business as usual tomorrow so you might want to try back then.

try going directly to the link:
[Information Request :: Office of Undergraduate Admission - Northwestern University](http://request.ugadm.northwestern.edu/)

Edit: looks like it just brings you to the page to request a general brochure anyway

@FindAPlace that is quite unusual, considering websites aren’t attacked by giant snow blizzards. I’ll try tomorrow though, thanks

A proxy server is used to bypass the firewall of your location or hide your identity.
papermuffin.com or proxy4free.com

True, I don’t think websites are impacted by the blizzard but the people who maintain them may not have braved the elements yesterday. In any event, NU is open for business today and everyone will be freezing if they go outdoors since the big snowfall has been followed by bitter cold.

For NU students and Chicago area residents, it’s not bitter cold - I was quite warm shovelling the 4 foot drifts from my driveway and sidewalk today.

And all kidding aside, anyone at NU for the year has got to be acclimated to the weather by now. Yes, it was 0 in the early morning, but the sun came out and we went all they way up to 16 today, with 20’s expected tomorow.

I’ll take your word for it, nugraddad. I’ve been in SoCal since '86, so when it gets down in the 40s (as it has at night lately) I think it’s chilly. Back there, you would call it a beach day, I believe!

Sorry, FAP, as a Chicagoan I have to side with nugraddad. It’s really not bitter cold at all! In fact, the sun shone for most of the day and it was pretty pleasant outside, all things considering.
