uauaua, I had an interview today! I think it went really good. It was more like conversation then the interview; I got just two questions. In exactly a month we’ll know our results. A month! Good luck, girls! :)

Btw, does anyone know how many of us applied?

No idea…
but looking at their past data, there is about 50% admission of applicants.

Oh, 25 days guys!
:)

Nadeechee: there might not be as many applicants this year because of the economy, but that may be just wishful thinking :p

25 days! ahh!!

About 200 I guess.Any news?

ED all the way! 23 days left!!! December 11th at 5 pm!

JZho: Let’s hope! ;D Yet, for Davis scholars scholarship remains the same, so there even might be more people applying then usually, if other colleges had to reduce their finances!

I’m applying toooo! It took me forever to decide. I was debating a LOT about which college to apply ED to, but finallyyyy decided WELLESLEY! im really excited about WINTERSESSIONS!

Is it true you have to take a math/science one and a history/lit/language one? I took lit and us history. it didnt say that you need a math/science one and a history/lit/language one but i’ve heard some poeple in CC say that about wellesley. anyone know for sure??

Wellesley doesn’t have any requirement for the subjects of the two SAT IIs you submit, so long as there are two of them. Some schools do, however, or simply prefer it, which is why you’ve heard that around the site.

one of the admission officers says they prefer one from math/science and one from lit/eng/history. I didn’t hear they say we must …

Hey, and what about international students? Do you know what is the percentage of int students who apply ed usually?

Only about 200 people on average apply ED per year. Considering financial aid is more limited for international students, my guess is that they make up 5% or less.

19 days.
Ugh, everyone around me is getting accepted to colleges.
This wait is unbearable!
haha.

International students can not apply ED except canadian.

what did everyone put down as prospective major? I did east Asian studies!

I put down Linguistics/Chinese. So, Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences and East Asian Languages. :)

what a coincidence! i went to china last summer for 6 weeks! ni haaaoo, ma?

Of course international students can apply ED. I’m an international, and I’m not Canadian.

I put down Peace and justice studies/ Environmental studies!

I put down neuroscience and classical near eastern archeology :)
