Wellesley Early Evaluation increases chances of acceptance?

Hi all, does Early Evaluation increase the chances of getting acceptance? Or is it just the satisfaction of finding out the chances of admissions earlier? I applied EE but I don’t think it gives you any leverage.

Hi, me again  According to the Wellesley College admissions report from last year (which I have linked below) Regular decision with early evaluation had a 32% acceptance rate vs. an acceptance rate of 14% for regular decision, which I would say is a fairly significant difference.

wow thank you @user_686165 I couldnot find that report anywhere online!

Hi  While the acceptance rate for RD with EE is considerably higher than that of RD without EE, it doesn’t necessarily mean submitting your application under EE increases your chances of being accepted. Keep in mind that students who submit under EE are likely more interested in Wellesley (and likely demonstrated further interest and/or had essays that reflected their interest more than those who submitted not under EE).

EE may help in that it’s another way to signal your interest in Wellesley, but I wouldn’t say it helps all that much, and definitely less so than ED
