Wellesley ED!! My chances?

Hello! I am currently a junior at a pretty competitive public high school in NJ. I was wondering what my chances would be at Wellesley College.

I am not completely sure if Wellesley is my first choice, but there is a good chance that I will apply ED there. I want to go into journalism in the future so I plan on majoring in Political Science or International Relations or maybe even something like Art History or English Literature.

SAT I: 2180
SAT IIs: Math II-730, US History-780, Spanish-750
UW GPA: My school calculates GPA a little differently, but on a 4.0 scale, my GPA is around a 3.82 (I have received 4 B+s in my high school career [sad face], but the rest are As and I have a huge upward trend)
APs: Sophomore Year- AP US History I (my school splits it into two courses); Junior Year- AP Micro/Macro Economics, AP English Language, AP US History II, AP Calculus AB; Senior Year- AP Biology, AP European History, AP English Literature, AP Spanish, AP Statistics
Rank: School doesn't rank

THANKS!!!

Although I’m no admissions officer, I would say you have excellent chances. Your grades, scores and ECs are all great. The fact that you are a first-gen Indian American will probably help, as well, as Wellesley values diversity. Good luck!

I disagree with Transfer014 with regards that your ethnicity will help; there isn’t really affirmative action for Asians. But your stats and your extracurriculars are amazing-- as long as you write a good essay to showcase your abilities, I’d say your chances are really high.

Good luck! :)

I agree with hawkdancer. Your stats are fantastic! Now, just write kick-ass essays and show Wellesley your passion/personality!
