Let's gather here rather than freaking out on all the other threads.
And for the benefit of future applicants, consider adding stats and whether or not you were EE possible/likely/unlikely

Yes, yes please. Let’s not freak out on any other threads. Especially since a load of decisions are coming in a week - let’s not think about that.

Wait, first of all, congrats to everyone!!!

I think I already added my stats on another thread (except I accidentally typed 4.75 as my GPA instead of 3.75 - sorry!), and I was EE likely.

EE possible, but now accepted! Congrats everyone! Just wondering, is there an official facebook group for us to all gather? :)

yep! https://www.facebook.com/wellesleyclassof2017

are you guys definitely going to attend?

unicorn me too! i was so surprised!!! AND HAPPY

In. 2270 SAT, 3.7 GPA at a VERY un-competitive school (valedictorian is taking home economics and algebra II as a senior, which makes me so sad I’m so far beneath her). Nothing really special otherwise, except I work in Twitter marketing and wrote about that for my essay.

Thanks lynnekeshet! Is there also a group we can join?

Is anyone else’s “Financial Aid Requirement” tab messing up? I checked it and discovered (to my extreme dismay) that I had a few bits missing, but now that I’m trying to access it again it’s leading me to a page with basically nothing on it but a drop down with academic years listed on it… :(

Yay!!! I got in! Does anyone know when financial aid comes out?

woops, it says on our letter. Nevermind. Sorry guys!

Accepted!
I only applied RD.
4.38/3.94
2080 SAT
URM
definitely considering Wellesley (depends on FA)
Congrats everyone!

Accepted! Congrats to everyone else who got in!

@economiss, now that it’s time for fin aid to be released, my thing has nothing in it. anyone else having this experience?

Same here! I don’t see anything about my financial aid award…

@lynne, I was actually missing a teensy piece of my financial aid documentation (face-palm), so I won’t be hearing back for a few days. I called SFS this morning, though, and they said that if all your documentation was in as of two days ago then your package should be posted. Have you gotten anything from them yet? You may want to call them.

Good luck!! :)

My financial aid was posted, so they are up for some of us anyway.

Hi, here are my stats:

SAT 2140 (CR700,M730,W710)
SAT II: German 800, Bio 660, Lit 660
GPA 3.83
IB student (predicted 43)
I’m Greek-German (living in Greece) and wrote about my ‘confused’ nationality in my essay
Not really any hooks, besides a very looong MUN career

Possible → Accepted!
Very surprised especially because it feels like I don’t deserve it (straight Bs with one C junior year)…so that just goes to show! You always have a chance!!

Just waiting to see how much financial aid I get now…

Posting for my D. Accepted, likely EE, 2340 SAT (800 CR, 770 M, 770 W), 4.0 UW, NMF, probably 2nd or 3rd in her class, mostly music, writing, and religious ECs. Can’t remember what her Wellesley essay was about–there were way too many supplements to keep track!

Not sure she’s going because she just got a $25K merit scholarship to Mount Holyoke, and is awaiting decisions from Pomona and Stanford. Probably won’t get in, so she’ll have to choose between Wellesley (full pay) and Mount Holyoke (half pay). We’re doing our best to let this be her call, but it is hard to ignore the free money!

Congrats to all who got in

Congrats to your daughter! Mount Holyoke is also an excellent school, and I’m sure she’ll be very happy no matter where she ends up.
