I’d imagine you get more ‘likely’ and ‘accepted’ postings in general. People happy to share success but less excited to post otherwise.
got unlikely. Not heartbroken but surprised as she had very good stats compared to what they advertise for average admits. Obviously a lot goes into who they choose to admit.
I got an unlikely which was surprising. I was hoping for a possible.
stats:-
SAT: 1430
GPA: 4.86
ECs: Debate, internship, Coursera courses, Community service, Basketball, Student Council
likely!!! so excited for the april open house!
I applied EE and I’ve logged into my portal (multiple times! :’), but I’m having a lot of trouble finding my “evaluation”. Can anyone help me out? How was it shown in your portal?
@correcto I had the same problem but I realized last week when the portal said there would be updates in March (as opposed to February which is what everyone else had) so my college counselor and I spent the last week trying to contact them and they finally got back to us today saying that there had been an error and they were fixing it. Maybe something along the same lines happened to you. I would try to contact the admissions office ASAP but unfortunately, I think that if it hasn’t shown up, you weren’t evaluated early and you will have to wait until March.
@Correcto on the top of the application page, you should see some thing like the following:
Status Update
An update to your application was last posted February 20, 2019.
View Update >>
Then click “View Update”
For those of you who applied EE, did Wellesley also send notification by mail?
@swimmermom2 I haven’t gotten any mail yet, so I’m not sure if they are sending anything by mail
Only email so far
I was accepted ED in 2017, and a couple days later I got a little packet with my acceptance letter, financial aid info, and a Wellesley sticker.
I was asking about EE (early evaluation), not ED. My D applied EE but was not able to access her portal and asked for username and Pw retrieval but has not gotten an automated response. When she contacted the AO by email she received a standard response that said they don’t reply to emails and to not call them because they are too busy. Not sure what to do at this point except wait another month when she will get the decision by mail.
Anyone know when Regular Decision letters will come out?
@hopscotchvivi End of march i believe
International student here. For people who apply for financial aid, when did you guys see your financial aid checklist? Mine showed up in March, it’s a little weird…
Hi! I applied ED1 and was deferred to RD. Does that mean I should get my decision when RD candidates get it as well?
@catpat4 yep! end of March.
Just got an email saying decisions will be up March 20th
Portal updated. Financial aid links are gone. The new admission decision release date is now on the portal.
“Check your portal for your admission decision on the evening of March 20.”
@Junerain Does your financial aid checklist exist from January?
