same here
i want to get the letter tomorrow! i dont want to wait until monday!

I was a likely and got a course catalog about a week ago tooā¦but I think that if you didnāt apply EE, then maybe they wouldnāt send a course catalog until after you receive your decisionā¦

Got a rejection letter from Wellesley today. Oh well.

iām sorry about that where do you live though?

I live in Massachusetts. Initially felt like I was incompetent/inadequate when so many girls from my HS got accepted and I wasnāt.

But in the end, itās okay. Wellesley is a fantastic school and people who got in, well they got in. Chances are, Iāll do just fine no matter where I end up.

Iām happy for the people who got in; they truly deserved it and Wellesley admissions agrees =)

I got really bad SATs and was so relieved that they accepted me on my grades and supplement essays instead. It was so nice to see that Wellesley appreciates the whole package!

My daughter received her acceptance letter today from Wellesley.
Very great financial aid.

To all accepted:

How did the FA compare to your FAFSA-calculated EFCs, if you donāt mind sharing?

@ dee - where are you located?

D never got a catalog in the mail so that might not be true referee.

Hi everyone
I got accepted today - an international student, but spending my senior year in MA, so I guess it makes sense that it came early. I didnāt get my FA package though, they asked for some additional info, but Iām hoping to see a good one soon.
Any internationals who got their FA? What is it like, if you donāt mind sharing?

Fingers crossed for all of you still waiting!!!

As a kindness to potential future applicants, I think it would be good for those who have gotten any kind of response, affirmative or negative, to post their profile in the Applicant Stats section. My daughter and I found the stats section very helpful when we were looking at what colleges she should apply to, and not many people have posted their stats yet this year.

To all accepted students, congratulations. To those who didnāt get the response they had hoped for, remember that Wellesley is only one of many, many great colleges in the U.S. Wherever you end up, youāll most certainly have a wonderful educational experience, and will never even look back.

@kenzie1992, Wellesley offers GREAT financial aid. I would pay 10k less than the EFC listed on the FAFSA. Iāve also gotten financial aid decisions back from Caltech and UChicago, and Wellesley offered me 25k more than both of those schools. Initially I was sort of leaning toward UChicago but this aid package might convince me to change my mind, especially considering my familyās financial situation.

refereeāI was a ālikelyā for EE; I donāt know if people who applied RD will get course catalogues.

I just checked the mail. Still no news from Wellesley in New York:(

Where in New York? My mail lady hasnāt come yet and Iām patiently waiting

Does the acceptance letter come in a large envelope? And rejection in a small one?

Small Wellesley letter in the mailāwaitlisted. On the upside I got a great financial aid package from Smithābut itās still disappointing that of my top three favorites I got rejected from one (Vassar) waitlisted at one (Wellesley) and got accepted to just one (Smith). Iād love to go to the latter, but I wanted it to be a choice, you know, not my only option. Not that I wasnāt accepted into Moho.

Accepted to Class of 2015!!! Best of luck to all those who are waiting, and hope to meet the proud girls of 2015 in the fall!!

Acceptance in our case was a big envelope. Had a folder with all the info. FA (no gap!!). Info to login to a new student portal. Invite to a overnight. Also an invite from the local W alumni club for a get together. Also an acceptance form to send back, which D put right in the mailbox in about 5 minutes. LOL. Good luck ladies.
