I got in with decent aid. It was never my first choice and I think I’ll have to pass up the offer for Smith but I am so happy for everyone who got in and for those on the waitlist, tarry not, there will be chances for you!

What is the stat for acceptance from waitlist ?

I got a big envelope today in Ohio! So happy and surprised. I got good aid, better than I expected – they’re asking me to pay less than my EFC. Still higher than I can realistically afford, though.

Aid expects me to pay a couple thousand more than my EFC…but it’s still one of the best packages I got aside from the merit at L&C…Barnard and Smith asked for 10k more than my EFC.

Hmmm…

D got a large envelope from Wellesley today.

Congratulations to all of you ladies!

My dad hid my big envelope under the couch and I almost died thinking that I’d have to wait another day for my decision…but I found it :)

Congratulations terrasini! Are you accepting their offer? I’m not sure if I’ll go, but if I do, we should definitely make a matriculating students thread, because I have tons to discuss/ask

Waitlisted (in Nevada.) I was really hoping I would get in. Should I take my position on the waitlist?

@beautyandvogue

I think I’m going to the Spring Open Campus in April so I guess I’ll decide officially then, but I would’ve filled out the reply card today if my parents hadn’t cautioned me. I’m still not sure if a women’s college is for me, so visiting is really important. We should definitely start that thread though.

Been lurking here for a while. Wellesley was one of my top choices, but strangely I didn’t feel crushed at all with the waitlist, in fact, I don’t think I’ll take my spot on the list come March 30. Congrats to all the ladies who got in.

I’ve always harbored fuzzy feelings for Cal - A bear I’ll be after all, and proud one too!

accepted .

yay I got in!

I’m so happy. The finaid is reasonable (better than every school but one) so I am even more happy.

Does anyone know if they have a travel grant program for admitted students?

lol I just got accpeted earlier today…yes there is a travel grant should be included in your package…mine was, call if you didnt see yours it is for the spring open house

funny. my acceptance packet was rather plain - a letter, financial aid info, and a return envelope. no travel grant thing!

I didn’t get a travel grant thing in my folder either :/

I must’ve been passed over for it, sigh. I wonder if it would be too presumptuous to ask Wellesley for assistance in an email or something? The airfare for me would be crazy expensive…

I got a free trip to SOC, but I believe it has something to do with the ALANA program, seeing as I didn’t get significant aid.

^I got the ALANA program thing as well but no mention of a free trip.

noesss.

Got the big envelope today in WA! I really want to go to ALANA and SOC since I’m not sure if Wellesley is for me yet. I visited during the summer when the campus was empty so I don’t think I got a proper feel for the school. No travel grant, but still hope to see some of you in April!

Waitlisted. I am indifferent.

Accepted, so happy! I get to visit tomorrow!!!
