Wow congratulations everyone!

Still waiting...

Wow congratulations everyone!

Still waiting...

Yup! snail mail--I'm a domestic applicant.

But like i said in my post above, I got the cell number of my post guy so I could run over at nine am to get my wellesley package.

I hope you hear today!

Damn. Rejected. Four down. >_<

Sorry, PUNKiiE. :(

I still haven't received anything, but I don't usually get the mail until 5 or 6 PM. I've done nothing productive all day... just posted on CC and waited.

It's okay Cameliasinesis.

I wonder if a rejectee (Me) can get a reconsideration?

Has any Wellesley students done that before? [researches]

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't make it Punkiie

I think it is possible to appeal though. It's always worth a shot.

AHHH WAITLISTED! i didn't even know they waitlisted..

should i stay in the line? what does this mean?

eek I'm scared. I live in Texas, so I probably won't get mine until Monday.
Have only MA people gotten theirs so far, or should I be worried?
I was a likely, but I'm still scared! haha

I didn't get any mail today -- as in, the mailman hasn't even shown up. I don't know if that means there wasn't any mail for us, which would be really bizarre since usually we get at least a few advertisements, or that they haven't made it here yet, which would be equally strange considering it's 7:20 PM and they usually get here around 5. I really don't know what to think at this point.

I'm on the eastern shore of MD and didn't get anything from Wellesley today. Guess I'll be finding out on Monday.

I'm from MA I got it today. [shrugs] This sucks. Tomorrow is going to be even suckier. -.-; It's my bday. [shrugs] xD Might as well make a birthday wish!

Faelivren- I hope so. :] Don't be sorry. It's not your fault.

happy birthday punkiie.

did any of you internationals get e-mails from DHL/FedEx about your Wellesley acceptance packages? my frd got admitted online but hasn't heard about it yet...

does wellesley determine financial aid solely based on financial need? or is it a combination of need and how much they want you?

^Purely need-based. Financial aid decisions are made separately.

Thank you hrhcow! xD I'm offically getting older! Ha ha! =] [hugs hrhcow] I am surprised that you remember!

Mardou fox,

Is Wellesley your first choice? If so, definitely stay in line. Do you have other acceptances yet? What are your basic stats?

We are in CA, and my daughter did not get anything yesterday.

This process is harder on me than on her. It seems that she has sort of zoned out about it all--still hoping for U Penn, where she was deferred ED.

abric1 --

it's tough to say whether or not W is my number one. i'm also in love with smith and mcgill (accepted to smith already, and expecting acceptance to mcgill). i think i will stay in line, though. you can read my stats here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/profiles/member_stat_view.html?user_id=98100 i also had a good number of ECs with leadership positions, and a couple awards.

does anyone have any advice on how to help my case on the waitlist? my godmother went to W and is pretty involved. i was going to ask her to write a rec or something. good idea? bad idea?

and good luck to your daughter on both W and UPenn!

Ahhh it's going to take forever to get to California.

do rejections come in little envelopes?
