Wellesley RD........

^Congrats! That's so awesome! Seeing "possibly" people get in is SO gratifying somehow!!!

Aw.. I got rejected :(

No biggie.. the envelope came today alongside Smith and MHC's big ol' envelopes!

Karibu88, Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm going to the Open House. We should totally meet up. Maybe next year we can form a little band and play our little accordions. How long have you been playing? Also, where are you from?

ProudDad, congrats to D......and all the other admittees. This is year 2 for Wellesley using IDOC. It seemed easier this year than last, and I could've sworn we paid for it last year, maybe not. I can see it as a useful tool for the finaid office to commonize all the paperwork. I sympathize that yours seems so screwed up. But, it's jogged my mind to check our status. Also, I hear you on the finaid app. I am psyched this will be my last year wading through finaid at W. I don't see the need for CSS Profile or the W app, and my experience has been that W develops its own EFC number and works from it. We've never been awarded aid up to the full amount based on the FAFSA EFC in 3 years. Although it's good for those students who get it, it frustrates me to see some of them saying that their aid package exceeds what it ought to be per FAFSA EFC.

Hmmm...I'm an EE likely, so it's not like I'm worried or anything, but I still haven't gotten my acceptance packet. Yesterday I got a Wellesley DVD, and today I got the Wellesley Course Catalogue, but still no acceptance packet. Weird, in my opinion.

I got my acceptance yesterday!! which I guess I was expecting after my likely, but I still am soooo surprised I got that in the first place so I was convinced I'd be that tiny percent that gets rejected after that. Of all my schools I REALLY was not expecting to get into Wellesley. :)

advantagious, I really can't imagine they'd keep sending you stuff like that for no reason. I'm sure these will just take a few days to get to everyone.

gah EE likely here and I checked the mail and NOTHING.
No course catalog, no DVD, no letter.

a course catalog???? i want one!!!!
