<p>I didn't see a thread yet for those applying to Wellesley as transfer students so I figured I'd get one started... if anyone wants to discuss. Sometimes transfer threads can be very helpful.</p>
<p>Anyway, I'm at one of the other Seven Sisters and hope to be accepted! I can't remember when the notifications officially come out, but I know it's sometime in May. Let's just hope it goes well for all of us. :)</p>
<p>I didn’t actually apply to transfer this year, but I’m planning on applying as a transfer to Wellesley and Barnard either next Spring or Fall. Just wondering which Seven Sister do you go to, and why do you want to transfer? I go to GW now, and am considering looking at a few other women’s colleges as well.</p>
<p>I am a transfer/ Davis scholar applicant for fall 2012, and the waiting is almost driving me mad. all my materials are in and whooo hoooo! here comes the fun waiting part! Soon, i hope. these notification dates are often all over the place.</p>

<p>Ok, just logged on & saw that final admissions decision information will become available on Monday, April 9th- view decision online beginning at 5 pm Eastern Daylight Time. Decisions will remain posted until May 1. </p>

<p>Oh, and sarah9 I’m at Mount Holyoke and want to transfer for a specific sociology/IR program that Wellesley could provide for me.</p>

<p>Sure, when you log into MyWellesley- right in the top center box. The info is there. It says right away the info dates for all notifications. April 9 th…well, I’m applying for a Davis Scholar program - so mine might be different.</p>
<p>ohhhh okay maybe that’s why. doesn’t say that in my center box. well, i can only pray that the regular transfer decision date is around then, too, though it’s unlikely based on previous years…</p>
<p>Well I know that in 2009 the decisions were released on April 17th for fall transfers, which is why I figured we would find out around then.</p>
<p>Update: Some not-so-good news… in 2011, transfer applicants didn’t hear back until May 13th.</p>
<p>I’m guessing it varies from year to year. Maybe, soon, a date will appear on our center boxes on MyWellesley so we’ll have a better idea.</p>
<p>Yeah, hopefully after today since all the required materials are officially due today. I’ve been checking off and on all week.</p>

Yesterday. March 27th.</p>
<p>eleeeeen, true, but we want to know when thenaturalista’s were due since she is applying for the davis program. her notification date is in april and we’re interested in knowing if all the transfer hopefuls will find out in april or if that is unique to the davis applicants this year.</p>
<p>We find out at the end of May. The Wellesley website says this under the transfer application webpage.</p>
<p>So I called the office this morning. The lady who I was speaking to said the committee hasn’t figured it out yet. Then I asked if it is in April or in May. She said she doesn’t know but if it is in May, it will be in early May.
