<p>So housing assignments came out today and I was placed in Brown. I never elected to go into the Wellness Program (selected "no pref" and never signed contract). I've heard a lot of things about the Wellness Program, most of which aren't terribly positive. Should I ask for a change or stay?</p>
<p>Someone asked about this on the Facebook group and a current student responded explaining that less than half of Brown residents actually elected to live in Wellness housing and that you can’t switch out unless you have a compelling reason for them to let you. Your social life shouldn’t be negatively affected because 1. most parties take place on West Campus since East is dry and 2. you can go to other dorms on East if your friends are drinking in there.</p>
