Went down 90 points in math, but do I have to retake?

Hey everybody I'm not really sure what to do here. I just got my new sat scores back and i got 790 CR, 690 M, and 700 W, but this doesn't make much sense.

On the old SATs I got a 780 M and on the PSATs I got an 80 M. So I figure I must have gridded some in wrong or something to that extent since I know I did a lot better than that.

My question is if colleges would accept my 780 from the old SATs to replace my 690 from the new? Because I really don't want to have to retake the whole test when I have scores that I'm already happy with.

You can order Hand Rescoring. It seems like a good choice in cases like yours where you are convinced an error in scoring had been made.

Yeah I was thinking about that but its more likely that I actually gridded in wrong than that the machine made a mistake. And in that case, I'd be wasting money.

I did order the score report though so I can at least see what actually happened.
