went into my interview very VERY sick

so i finally had my interview yesterday. i woke up in the morning with a fever and a sore throat and stomach pangs. i had to skip school because i was very very sick, but i managed to drag myself out of the house to my interviewer's office.

i talked throughout the whole time with a stuffy nose (imagine how my voice sounded), and in the middle, i got into a coughing spell so she had to offer me water. and i had to repeat some things because my voice was making my words incomprehensible, BUT i did tell her i was sick.

WONDERFUL. i hope she doesn't grade down on my "presentation" ahahaha.. sigh. she's probably freaked out about catching the cold from me. i hope she doesn't put in her evaluation "applicant seemed very germy..."

lol about the last comment!
Actually, if I were the interviewer I would see this as a good thing...you are so committed to Pton and so motivated that you made the interview even though you clearly weren't feeling up to it.
I think it's fine as long as you didn't sneeze right on her or something. :p

I was majorly jetlagged because I had gotten back from Europe the night before.

"applicant seemed very germy"

made me laugh out loud.

hey, it might make you seem really dedicated. that you went to the interview even though you were sick.

Yeah! I am sure you came across as really dedicated...

Hahaha ... don't worry about it. I went to the hospital and found out I had pneumonia a couple hours after my interview. And I didn't even know what was wrong with me yet, so I probably just came off as rather sluggish ... but I still got in. I rather think your interviewer will think you were really dedicated to Princeton.

If you are sick, please try to reschedule the intv.
That's not going to go against you!
