<p>My name is Reno and I have decided to live off-campus in an apartment. It is nice and neat and REALLY close to campus. It is a 2 room apartment and I will be taking over the living room to reduce to cost for all of us. So only 1 room out of the 2 will be available because I have a male friend who will be living there from my local CC.</p>
<p>So both of us are really cool and we're down to drink during the weekends. I am an Econ major who is pretty sociable. I'll probably hit the gym 24/7 since I am an active guy. The other guy's name is Joel and he's a Mass Comm major who is super chill to a point you'll probably never see him get angry. He's awesome because 1. he loves alcohol just like me, and 2. he loves to meet people and have a good time. As much as we enjoy meeting new people, ONE THING is that there will be no parties allowed in the house since I won't have a door. </p>
<p>Now, let's talk about the room. As I mentioned, the room is very close to campus. It is located on Benvenue Ave. which is right around the corner of College Ave. and Dwight Way. You'll be taking over the other room for $650 which is a great deal considering it to be that close to campus. I negotiated with the landlord to start the lease on July 1st (others usually HAVE to start on June 1st). Another plus about this place is a parking spot is included in the rent. Other tenants are renting the spot out for 100 bucks a month which covers pretty much their entire bill (PG&E, cable, internet and etc.)</p>

<p>Wow, I don’t think advertising alcohol is going to be particularly attractive to most upper division transfer students who want to focus primarily on their studies.</p>
<p>LOL! Nick, we just don’t want a social outcast! It’s fine one decides to study all day in the room and prefer no eye contact with his/her roommates. We just thought we’d work hard during the week, relax and drink some beer in the weekends together!</p>
<p>Seriously! You really want to work 7 days a week? Anyways, I’m not here trying to conclude on a Berkeley mentality or on who’s right and who’s not. I AM JUST HERE LOOKING FOR A ROOMMATE! Let me know guys!</p>
<p>The only thing that matters when finding a roommate is if a) the person will pay rent on time and is not a deadbeat, b) they are considerate of noise/commotion, etc. they are making at various times of day and night, c) they are clean (both their person and surroundings), take out the garbage before it is overflowing, don’t leave toothpaste clumps in the sink, don’t steal your soap, and don’t eat your food/drink your beer w/out replacing it. </p>
