We're still #2 in the BCS

If Notre Dame beats USC, do you guys think we'll have a rematch for the title?

If that happens and Florida emerges as SEC champion, then Florida could go to the national championship.

usc win ovr notre dame and win to UCLA = USC into title game... if lose either, then out

concievably florida could make it but i dont thnk theyd have enuff points

if notre dame beats usc they woudl jump... prolly not enuff to make the title game tho... if they did, i would b really ****ed off

hopefully a rematch

If USC and Florida both lose, then a rematch is possible.

Florida has .8838 pts and Michigan has .9263 or somethin like that...If Florida wins it's last game against Florida State, then they might possibly replace Michigan, but my standpoint is that they won't cause thats .4 pts to go up and Florida state isn't even ranked.

The biggest threat to me is either Florida or USC. I really think Weiss and Brady have a REALLY REALLY good chance at beating USC this weekend. Notre Dame should have pretty much won last years game and I think this time they want revenge for what happened.

Hopefully Michigan will make it to the BCS Championship. Wouldn't that be quite a game if we somehow toppled OSU at that point? What a game and major upset that would be...haha

You guys are forgetting something: the SEC championship game. If Florida wins out, they'll beat #5 Arkansas in the process (HUGE style points). If they lose, Arkansas will beat #3 Florida, again HUGE style points. I see the winner of that game going to Glendale, Arizona.

Then again, if we caught a break and blew it at the Championship game, we would never here the end of it. -_-

tru azurek... but we cant b thinking of that

USC will most likely make it if they win out. I don't think it's possible for Notre Dame if they win out because they lost to Michigan, and they wouldn't select one team over the team they lost to when they both have one loss.

If USC looses one of their games, then Florida is in if they can beat Florida State and Arkansas. Arkansas could get in if they beat LSU, Florida, and USC looses. I'm pretty confident Michigan will get in over any 1-loss Big East team.

So the ideal situation for Michigan to get to the championship is:

-USC lose to Notre Dame (or UCLA, but that's asking a lot)
-LSU beats Arkansas (elliminating them) and then Arkansas beats Florida in the SEC championship OR Florida State beats Florida and then Florida beats Arkansas in the SEC championship
-It wouldn't hurt for Rutgers to beat West Virginia, as WV have the best possibility (although very slim) of anyone from the Big East.

My guess is Michigan will get in over a 1-loss Arkansas, Notre Dame, and West Virginia. But not over a 1-loss USC or Florida.

That's stupid. We all know Michigan is the #2 team in the nation. We should redesign this so there's no more ratings and votes and crap and turn it into a playoff system. Then we know for sure Michigan would be in the championship lol
