Wesleyan, Carnegie Mellon or Boston College

So I was accepted to these schools, and was wondering which would be better for a potential economics major. I am still going to visit these schools, but just wanted some advice on which one would be better for my field of study. Any ideas?

BC def, CMU is more tech. I’m not sure about Wesleyan

Ignore Carnegie Mellon. If you’re conservative go to Boston College, if you’re liberal go to Wesleyan.

I’ve heard that Wesleyan’s economics is more focused on theory. I was looking at the student affairs website for cmu for the 59 2010 graduates from economics major 29 were employed and 15 went to grad school. http://www.studentaffairs.cmu.edu/career/Students/gps1/explore/survey/pdf/Economics.pdf</a>
but then again I was wondering that if i went to wesleyan my overall college experience would be better. I really don’t know

Wesleyan is higher ranked than Boston College which is a more conservative school.

destinyhelp

can you explain why you so readily dismiss CM, my son has a similar decision to make only instead of Wesleyan his 3rd choice is William and Mary, just helps if I know why you say this

CMU has an amazing Economics program
