<p>Well, I guess we could try Vassar…but it’s cold up there and far away. It’s not that much different weather-wise from Wesleyan I don’t think, but I’ll take any warmth I can get.</p>
<p>haha yeah guys i think i feel like all of u. wes is the only “right” school. i havent started any of my other supps i need to get on that. i just want to get into wes and be done forever and be going to my dream school. hey who knows maybe well all get in and all be happy :)</p>
<p>I’m sure we’d be fine at other schools, though! And at least for me, practically any college would be a nice change from high school.</p>
<p>yeah vassar is my 2nd choice probably just cause its always compared to wes. but vassar lacks things that i look at wes as perfect. such as wes’s film and art community and the general wes culture vs vassar culture</p>
<p>yeah i agree clearwater. and if wes doesnt work out for some reason we should move on and not overanalyze “why, why, why”, i think wherever we end up is for a good reason…</p>

<p>Am I the only one who’s paranoid when writing on these threads…I basically stalked the one from last year and next year’s applicants are probably going to do the same for us. Plus the people who applied/are applying but aren’t posting are reading these too</p>

<p>wes has no core curriculum, so i’d like to double major in psych (they have a great department) and history. its the perfect size, in a perfectly acceptable location haha, and a great music/film scene. the film series is beyond amazing. also the kids are really passionate and intense about whatever they do but also chill at the same time. like i did an overnight there and my host’s roommate procrastinated with us for 2 hours because she genuinely wanted to and not sacrifice her social life. then she pulled an all nighter to finish math hw. why wes for you guys? :)</p>
<p>hahaha college confidential is the best. i already calculated that the ed 1 acceptance rate is around 46% from last year by looking at last year’s ed thread</p>

<p>its the perfect size. its a 2hour drive from where i live (NYC) so i can go to concerts in nyc still and come home for holidays/such. i ultimately want to be a film composer so its obviously great for that. during my interview i talked about how i would like to work with film directors and score their short films which would help me pursue my craft with fellow people. i could double major in case music never works out and the culture/liberal arts education is something im really drawn to. im really passionate about learning and communicating with open minded kids.</p>
<p>wow nice calculation cause thats actually what it is. theirs on article on ny times thats like “where applying ed helps” and wes ed was 45.8 last year</p>
<p>I did an overnight there and the students actually acknowledged me. My host made me a little bed by the window sill and a guy let me go in front of him in the lunch line and someone else helped a group of us when we got lost without any of us even having to ask.</p>
