For any Wesleyan parents or family members out there who are concerned about how the campus is faring during the electricity power outage after last night's freak snow storm, I found out that power is very limited on campus now--and 93% of Middletown is out. There will be a free lunch at Usdan from 2-4 pm for students. Connecticut media predict that it may be "several days" before power is restored. Tonight will be very chilly, so it's going to be a rough time for everyone in central Connecticut. Wesleyan's website is down right now, so that is all the info we have.

Talked to my D, she was online to get food, sounded annoyed but good. Website was working about an hour ago. They can go to Science Center if it gets too cold!

People, including some parents, seem to be commenting on Wesleying (the student blog) intermitently. This is one of the longer threads: [If anybody is out there – Wesleying](<a href=“If anybody is out there | Wesleying”>If anybody is out there | Wesleying)

AND, power seems to be returning slowly to “the main campus” (i.e., not the woodframes): [LET THERE BE (some) LIGHT – Wesleying](http://wesleying.org/2011/10/31/let-there-be-some-light/#disqus_thread)
