Does anyone else think that early writes can come out tomorrow notifying some people of admission? For the past two years they came out on the second Friday of March

What is an early write? Is it a likely letter, and is it emailed or accessed through the portal?
@elc2435 well From what i have learnt, top schools use it to offer more likely(top) candidates an earlier acceptance to increase yield…it can be a likely letter or an equivalent to an acceptance letter, meaning you are accepted…it can be emailed and accesed through your portal, or it can be emailed then mailed to you or both depending on the school’s policy on sending out decisions…but for Wesleyan, if they are doing early writes this year, it will most probably be emailed and accessed through portal, then scholarship info mailed to you(from past threads, i think). I hope this helps.
I perused last year’s thread as well. It’s definitely not a likely letter, but an actual early notification of acceptance. Last year they seem to have heard at around 3:00 Central Time. They received an email and the portal reflected their acceptance. Could be a great day for some of you!

OMG GUYS! I just received an email telling me that an update was made to my portal. I got an early write!!! I can confirm it’s a letter of acceptance.
My DD just got an early write email too! It’s an email that asks you to go check the portal.
