So far Columbia and Chicago seem fairly similar but I'm completely torn b/c both of these schools seem to offer such different experiences than Wesleyan. Chicago is in a big city and part of a large university. Wesleyan is in a small town with a thriving campus community. I hear that they both have really strong academics (but so far Chicago seems to be much more intense. Do you think that one or the other gives you a stronger chance at getting into the grad schools/careers that you want or are they both pretty similar? As I've been looking at schools I've realized that every school has its strengths and weaknesses. Does anyone have any insights to the strengths and weaknesses of each of these schools?

Grad school, or careers for that matter, has much more to do with you, and much less to do with the school, especially at this level. Look for the place where you'll thrive. Then grad school will take care of itself.
