Alright, before this starts to look like the crap on chicago's forum, I'll say this.
Wes and Vassar are both awesome schools. I think the main difference academically is that Wes has a better film program and is probably a little better in the sciences, other than that the biggest difference is the location.
They're amazing schools, it just comes down to personal preference. The rankings are so disgusting for this very reason. I was going to apply to vassar but decided not to because of it's location, not because of it's ranking.

On the "Cnt" club. this is a radical feminist organization, and it would like to take back the word "cnt" in much the same way the word "queer" has been taken back. Students do not sit around in a circle and look at each others' nether regions. They do real (useful) services and provide valuable information for feminists.

Wesleyan and Vassar are both great schools; I looked at both of them

THIS DEBATE IS INTENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any way, does Wesleyan, and Vassar value SAT Subject Tests during admissions?

You have to have them, check the admissions site for requirements.
It's really not that hard haha.

Did you visit Trinity over the summer? My daughter is looking at Trinity and Vassar. Any comments?
Thanks

according to the OP’s posting history, her S probably graduated from Vassar last spring. You should probably start a new thread, if you are interested in Trinity.

We are visting both Vassar and Weslyean over the weekend. I expect the adm offfice will be closed. I printed out the self-guided tour. Are there at wesleyan any should-not-miss’s?

Thank you for the link. i missed that they had a Sunday tour.

Igloo… make sure to check out Usden for brunch and sense the energy within… then just step outside to see everyone hanging out on Foss Hill. The weather is supposed to be spectacular this weekend so enjoy your visit. I personally like the view from the Library over the football field to Usden this time of year… By the way… Go Wes. beat Colby…
