Wesleyan?

<p>I'm really iffy about my admission chances, help please! </p>

<p>Middle Eastern female
High school junior
Pretty good high school in Illinois</p>

<p>Rank: 29/643 (should move up, I think)
GPA: Weighted- 4.5; Unweighted- 3.76</p>

<p>APs: </p>

<p>Soph: Human Geo
Junior: Psych, U.S., Physics B, Enlgish Language
Senior: Euro, Govt, Macroecon, Bio, Calc AB, English Lit, Spanish</p>

<p>Tests:
ACT: 29 (gunna retake, will hopefully move up)
SAT: haven't taken yet, but psae was 188</p>

<p>Extracurrics:
Student Council: will be 3 years (vice president senior year); will be president of president's forum (a forum that meets in order to run the school's activities)
Students action for education: 3 years
Charity Committee thing: (sorry, we don't have a name yet) I'll be president (maybe co-pres) and founder. </p>

<p>Other stuff that I don't think is too important:
Girls Varsity basketball manager: 1 year
Philosophy club: 1 year
Political club: 1 year</p>

<p>Recs:
Well, one of my teachers is an alum and does interviews for Wesleyan, so that should help a lot. lol I plan on asking him for a rec; he's known me since freshman year, too (was my gifted and world history teacher). </p>

<p>I know I have to improve my ACT score and need to do well on my SAT, but what do you think? </p>

<p>is this illinois wesleyan? if it is i just visisted there last week and it is a REALLY SMALL school.......only 2100 people......random fact being said your stats are pretty good except for that act........i mean it meets their requirements but you might want to get like a 30 or 31
your transcript is rigorous so thats gonna set you apart at a small, liberal arts school.
