West campus house dorms- air conditioned?

I was wondering- are the new west campus house dorms air conditioned? I realize an air conditioner wont really be needed the bulk of the year, but I would assume the first few weeks can be pretty warm/humid, so I was just wondering.

The building itself is air conditioned, plus each room has a ceiling fan (since the air conditioning is weird... you feel it, but it's not full-blast like the common room)... usually that's fine, a little muggy when it's hot, but nothing too bad. I'm the type of person that leaves windows open in the winter, and with a floor fan from home, ceiling fan, and open windows I was fine. :)

The new dorms are air-conditioned, I believe. Either Cook or Bethe has ceiling fans, but I foget which one. Either way, staying cool won't be a problem at all in the new dorms. The older ones I'm not so sure about, but I'd guess they don't have A/C. No worries though, it's far from unbearable in any case, and doesn't last very long.

both Cook and Becker have ceiling fans, and I'm assuming Bethe does as well. Like I said, new ones have A/C, just not directly pumping into the rooms. And agreed - the houses are a LOT better at being cool than the gothics.

Becker does not have ceiling fans, I lived there this past year.

o they don't!? i guess I'll just get a fan than! good to know!
