Hi I'm a potential transfer and I haven't been able to find out what the West Campus suites are actually like. I've heard that they're a couple of rooms on a hallway that share a bathroom but is there a common room or anything? Thanks.

I’m pretty sure if you go on the west campus housing site, you can find descriptions and pictures.
[West Campus House System](http://www.westcampushousesystem.cornell.edu/)

the suite has a common lounge…nothing impressive…but it’s definitely good for having parties/people over…

i just went to cornell and my host lived on west campus in Carl Becker in a suite. theirs was really nice because they were at the end of the hall in the corner so they could often be as loud as they liked and the noise never bothered anyone else. if im not mistaken, theres a main hall and theres a door to your suite, which has a small common room and then a hall to all the rooms in that suite, about four or five? theres a bathroom at the end of it which is cool because you wont be sharing a bathroom with like your whole floor. the suites are really nice because everyone is really social and friends and when i was their, everyone had firends over and were hanging out together. i liked it.

also, carl beckers dining hall is soooooooooo good!

so about how big is the common room? could you have some couches and a tv or is it more just like a foyer?

it already comes with some furniture (plush)

very appropriate for a tv…heh one girl i know even set up a tiki bar in hers XD

I lived in one of the new suites (Carl Becker House) two years ago. They are quite nice, if a bit simple. In most suites, there are usually four individual rooms on a hall (3 singles and 1 double). There is also one bathroom, and a very nice one at that, in the new dorms. The common rooms are not huge, but as a TV room or hangout spot they’re plenty large. Unless you absolutely need a kitchen, it has basically everything you’d need in terms of living space.

Cool, i want to live in a double XD… Do you request a suite or they randomly put u in a suite? How much does it cost to live in a suite? Or it still goes by single and double room cost?
