<p>I recently applied to WCU (give or take two weeks ago) and I know it is really early to start worrying about when I will hear back, but I was just wondering how long it normally takes for them to send an answer out. If anyone applied there before in years past or even this year, it would be great if you could tell me how long it took you to get a response. I know it sounds like I am freaking out over it, but to be honest I kind of am because you have to hear back by a January date to get considered for a scholarship application. Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance! :) -E</p>
<p>In the same boat. My son was just asking when WCU would be notifying. I cannot tell from previous years what their norm is…of anyone can give us a sense of whether they start to send letter before or after the new year that would be much appreciated!</p>
<p>@lindacof I asked a few people when they were notified of their acceptances, and most of them got their responses within about two weeks to a month. One of them did mention that a lot of people they knew got their letters in mid to late December last year, so hopefully your son and I both get our letters fairly soon! I’m not sure if it has to do with the matters of being in or out of state, but I have heard that they like to send out letters in batches according to what program of study you intend to pursue (I’m not sure if this is true though). Either way, I’m sure it won’t be too long! Best of luck!!
