<p>I was accepted as a BA in theater arts and it's looking like I might be attending...barring another acceptance somewhere else of course. Fortunately I got many of my gen eds out of the way, so I'm gonna try to go for the dance minor (or at least take some dance classes) since that seems to be something in the concentration that isn't heavily covered.</p>
<p>It is deinfitely a wise decision to take dance classes. Since the instructors are usually the director's, choreographer's and musicla director's, its best they see participating in class first so that they have an idea of what they are in for if they cast you in a show. also rglick, since classical singing is very different than musical theater, the vocie lessons work with singing, and acting ability during the song. Generally, you won't be performing anything classical. If shes looking for classical singing and training, we also have a great vocal pperformance program, an audition is, however, neccessary for that major.</p>
