<p>Want to stay on the west coast. Interested in Santa Clara Univ; Univ of Oregon; Univ of Washington; Univ of Denver; Gonzaga; SLO; Univ of Puget Sound. Interested in general business, these schools all fit the bill. Like northern CA, Oregon, Washington, Colorado. Anyone know if these are all ranked about the same, or one stands out better or worse? </p>
<p>Although it’s not absolutely necessary, for business I tend to prefer colleges that have gone through the trouble of being accredited by the Assocatioin to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. To gain accreditation, colleges have to abide by a set of standards and be reviewed by an outside accrediting committee. </p>
<p>I believe the only school on your list that doesn’t have AACSB accreditation is U of Puget Sound. That doesn’t mean UPS should be eliminated, as it is a very nice school, but you might want to read up on the AACSB standards for business programs, and look carefully at how UPS’ program compares to the others:</p>
