So to amuse you while son is in flight, we had some of the same discussions when our S-2 went from Buffalo to college in Orange County CA. If your son decides he can handle the Northeast, let me know if you want a room full of sweaters, a Russian-style fleece-lined winter hat with earflaps, flannel-lined jeans,
a humongous leather coat with sheepskin lining and hood, bought used on ebay for a song. Wait, you can’t have that last one, he asks us to meet him at the airport with it, and it hangs here until his next visit :p

My son had interest from Bates which is in Maine, he checked it off his list very early. paying3 reminds me of a snowboard trip to Park City, Utah when he was about 10, he saw a bunch of pre-schoolers running outside to a park for recess…we were sledding on a small hill near by. My son told me how lucky they were to be able to have recess in the snow, as a mom, all I saw were kids in bulky snowsuits, boots and lots of lost gloves…actually, 1/2 the kids had mismatched gloves…lol. I will have to remind him of this when he returns home. I bet your son is enjoying the OC and the sun!!

I realize that the point is moot now, but are these the pants everyone is talking about?
