I am a High School Sophmore, about to be a junior next month, who is very interested in going to West Point. To get into West Point I realize you have to be a well rounded leader which is what I have tried to do for my two years in highschool. For grades i recieve mostly A's and B's and get the occiasional C. How ever, i know my grades aren't spectacular which is why I do communitee service and extra curriculars. I'm on the golf team, baseball team, and am also wrestling next year. Im Vice-President of my class, in rotary interact club, best buddies, bread and roses, medical careers club and a few more; im also thinking of joining a few more clubs my junior year. I am also involved with communitee serive outside of school, like coaching a basketball team and stuff with my church. I plan on getting into national honors society next year which you have to have an 88 cumulative average to get in. As a junior im going to apply to the West Point Leadership Seminar (SLS) and start to get recomendations from senators and congressman. I am also already starting to study for the SATs and will be taking the PSATs in the fall. Any tips!!!!! Please help!! :)

Frankly it looks like your candidacy would be better served by your spreading yourself less thin on the ECs and community service and buckling down and crank on that GPA. You gotta be North of 3.5 to be any sort of viable candidate. Plus you’ve got to have a crystal clear reason why you wish to be come a US Army officer in a time of war. Good luck to you.
