I am a junior in HS.
My weighted GPA is about 3.8 and unweighted in about 3.5.
This past quarter, I received a 4.14 GPA and should have even better in the future.
I took 1 AP sophomore year, 2 this year, and will be in about 5 senior year.
I am also enrolled in quite a few honors classes.
I do not take any studyhalls and have one of the heaviest courseloads in the school.
My class rank is around 149 out of 567 (upper 26th percentile) and improving.

EC-wise:
I'm an Eagle Scout. I am also the Senior Patrol Leader of my troop in which I am the head boy leader of 55 scouts - I plan all meetings and camps. I devote much of my time to the Boy Scouts.
I am in National Honor Society, Key Club, and am a DARE Role Model.
I am an altar server and in a youth group.
I played freshman and sophomore football, sophomore CYO basketball, and will have run track for sophomore, junior, and eventually senior years. I currently have no varsity letters (other than in academics).

I want to go to USMA at West Point so much... what are my chances?

Apply to summer seminar and see if you get into the program. If it is like USAFA then if you get into summer seminar, you have a really good chance of getting in West Point.

As a senior recently accepted for the class of 2016, I recommend that you begin the application process now if you are truly dedicated in attending the academy. First and foremost you must contact your district congressman for a Congressional Nomination. You also need to be in the upper echelon of your class in regards to class rank. One very strong thing you have on your side however is that you are an eagle scout. Proving you have a background as a leader is imperative to being looked at as a potential cadet. This is the strongest thing you have on your side right now.
There are a few things you can improve on however;
Class rank should be <75
Grade point average should be around 4.1 weighted, 3.75 unweighted
SAT scores should be no less than a combined 1600 in Reading, Writing, and Math

Also be sure to have a strong background in science and math, West Point is an Engineering school at heart and you are required to take calculus and certain sciences.

Never settle for less, West Point looks for persistence, show them YOU want it and good luck. Hope I can call you a fellow Cadet one day.
