I know that the West Point Martial Arts club is mixed with various styles like judo, TKD, etc, but I was wondering if they also practiced other styles that would allow for the continuation of CQC training beyond what is required of every cadet. Recently, I've become interested in Krav Maga, so I was wondering if this or other military styles were included in the club. Any cadets know?

Ya man, i take Krav Maga. It is good to know no matter what.
I really enjoy it.

Im taking it in preparation for WP and to be ahead of the bunch, to take some anger out/ get stress out, and to learn how to be a real scary fighter.

I strongly suggest you start taking classes.

Where do you live? Because I could send you to some great places.

CQC is mandatory as a yearling for everyone. After that, you can get certified up to level IV or so at school as a lifetime sport. Looking back, I wish I had done that instead of SCUBA, rockclimbing and badminton.

http://www.usma.edu/USCC/DCA/Clubs/clubshome.html This is a link to all of the sponsored USMA clubs. There is a link for the Judo team, and the Martial Arts team. I believe that MA covers kendo, karate, and takwondo, I do not know if they do Krav Maga.

West Point also has a grappling team, does grappling as an IM in the spring, and wrestling as an IM in the fall.

I've been taking TKD for about 5 years now, and I plan to continue my training at West Point. But you say there are classes that allow you to continue your CQC training beyond the requirements? If CQC would be considered a lifetime sport, could I train in TKD as well? Maybe I should email the MA club director.

Yep, CQC is a class, TKD is a club. You can do both. You could not, however, do the club and the intramural grappling team, as I believe they meet at the same time. Feel free to e-mail the martial arts club person. The contact info should be good, they update it every year at club night. USMA has an EXCELLENT team and we do well at all the regional competitions.
