Hello,
I am a High School freshmen and I know that college is far away but it's mainly what I think about besides school. I want to have the honor of going to the prestigious academies of West Point or Naval Academy. I would love to hear from someone who has recently gone through, or currently is going through the West Point/ Naval Academy experience. These are my top two colleges and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I live my life based on the mottos and ideals of these colleges and I hope that I will gain acceptance in 3 years.

I was accepted to USMA, will be attending, and am happy to answer any questions you have!

General advice: do a varsity sport, score above 32ACT or 2100SAT, and get some real leadership experience

Someone I knew applied to the naval academy and was rejected. His problem was: there were errors in his applications. The thing is, the application process is quite difficult and different from regular applications to colleges. I would do thorough research on the process of applying to these institutions and start looking for sources of recommendation. Recommendations from politicians and officers usually carry a lot of weight. As always, study hard and good luck!
