Hi,
Im going to study Pre-Med at Western Washington University and I was wondering have any students transferred to University of Washinton (Seattle Campus) to finish of the Pre-Med program, or have any students finished the Pre-Med program at western and went to University of Washington to begin Med program.
You should post this question in WWU-specific forum.

BTW, just because you graduate from UDub, is zero guarantee that you’ll be admitted to the UDub–or any other-- med school.
OP, many successful med students attend community college for two years before transferring to a four year. (including a recent Surgeon General of the United States) You can be successful, notwithstanding your path, as long as you are dedicated and work hard toward your goal. Concentrate on the things that matter, GPA, MCAT, ECs, etc.
so its possible to attend a university like Washington state university but than transfer to university of washington after 4 years if my GPA, MCAT, EC’s, etc are good?
You don’t “transfer” for medical school. You have to apply and be accepted.
But, yes, it is possible to graduate from WWU and be accepted at UDub for medical school.
Either go to WWU for all four years, or go to another school for all 4 years. Transferring is rarely the preferred route for a premed because after you transfer, it will be harder for you to get the great LORs for your med school app.
WWU is well respected. You can go there for all 4 years and then apply to med school.
@Seattlefc Your past posts are confusing. Are you now at a CC or are you doing Running Start thru your HS?
Are you out of high school or still in HS?
If you’re out of high school, and attending a CC, then why would you want to transfer to WWU, and then transfer again to UW?
Or maybe I’m confused by your posts. What is the situation?
I finished high school and I’m currently attending a CC for about 1 or 2 more quarters (I did running start and have about 75 credits already), but my aim is to transfer to either WWU or WSU and study there for 4 years than attend a really good medical school such as UW or somewhere else
Fine, do that. What is your question?
