westminster, governors, salisbury, avon

has anyone heard from these schools, or know if they have online decisions? I live in FL so I have no idea if anyone has heard up north.

I've heard that Avon decisions will be available at 12:01 a.m. tonight (technically tomorrow morning) and Salisbury ACCEPTANCES will be emailed Monday (tomorrow) evening.

My S applied to Avon via paper, not online, so I don't think we can access Avon online!

bear-are you applying for freshman year?

yeah I'm a frosh applying for repeat. how'd your son like avon? I loved it totally caught me by surprise.

baseballmom
i am not familiar with avon in particular, but i know that my daughter applied to all of her schools on paper but will still receive online decisions for those who send them that way..

yeah, I cant find anything on avons website about online decisions anyways.

bear--we loved Avon-what a campus!!!!

momothree--I don't even think we ever set up a username, but I'll give it a try! Who knows, maybe I can get in!

bear-I think you just go to the online admissions page and login, but I'm just guessing.

bear-I just tried to find the spot on the Avon page and can't see any logical place either.

baseballmom,
I just visited the AOF site to see if I could find a log-in area. If you click on "quicklinks" (I think that's what is was called) at the top of the page, then click on "portal log-in". It says if you can't remember your username/password, to enter your e-mail and it will be sent. Worth a try...

Thanks, Keylyme. I just tried and I can't get in. The site doesn't recognize baseballson's email address, leading me to believe we never set up an account. They DO have his email address though...not sure if that helps at this point. I guess I could try setting up an account and see what I have access to. Or, wait for the mail tomorrow! :)

Well, good luck! I hope you receive positive news!!

My son just rec'd an email from AVON!!!! He got in!

baseballmom did he recieve the email at 12 08 or at 12 00 because if its 12 00 then i didnt get in if he got it at 12 08 maybe its taking time to send out all the emails.

tell him congrats from myself as well.

It says 11:05, but I had been checking right up to midnight and had left his mailbox open in another window. There was no email in there at 12:02. I just happened to click it open a few minutes after midnight and it was sitting there.

It may have been held up by my server, but I'm not sure. Did you check your email after midnight?

never mind baseball mom I got in too.

YAY for bear!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO :) :) :)

Now you'll be classmates!

Sorry baseball mom if I told you the wrong thing! I thought I said emailing at 12:01. :) Wish I had seen this thread sooner, we were napping so we'd be up! LOL We got a 10th grade acceptance.

Salisbury told us they were putting the packages in the MAIL on Saturday and emailing acceptances Monday night. Avon was MAILING on Saturday as well.

Westminster does not have email or online notification. They drove the notices to the post office on Saturday. They said you could call on Monday if you didn't get it or you could email the GENERAL admissions email address.

We too were surprised at how much we loved Avon.

My son and step son both got into AOF... I am in shock! I expected my son to, he's applied as a boarding freshman and I thought he had a good chance... he loved the school. My step son applied as a repeat junior, a really good kid but he needs to apply himself a bit more... they both were really excited. Don't know who will go (I suspect one if not both)... it is a wonderful place, and what they do with boys has always impressed me... and the campus is amazing.
