Westminster House

Has anyone lived or heard of someone living at Westminster House? How was the experience and how many students live there? Whats the grade level distribution? Like how many sophomores? I would be glad to hear some inputs.

The students I know who live there are all sophomores (but then again I don't know many). It seems pretty quiet but the rooms are nice, and of course it's really close to campus.

Is it a pretty sociable place?

Someone I know very well lives there. It's a fairly nice place, kinda pricey, and extremely cliqueish. It seems to have mostly freshmen and sophomores - serving as a "substitute dorm" in certain ways for students who will never get to experience living in the dorms.

It's also Christian Themed, so keep that in mind.

its an extremeley sociable place known for the high number of freshman swimmers that have gravitated there in recent years. i wouldn't pay attention to the whole christian-themed thing because for the most part rules are more relaxed there than any dorm on campus.

Is it like applying to dorms? Is it competitive to find a double at Westminster right now? Or should it be really easy, if I just bring the deposit?

Seems like they always have room because they are pretty pricey. The rooms are supposedly cramped and small and the building is about as nice as a dorm. My friend lived there and he lived in a triple which was cramped and not very big.
