I'm a FPF student and by the look of things I doubt I will get a housing offer. So I was looking into off campus options and it seems like westminster tau and tc are the 3 more popular options. I was wondering if anyone could give me their input on the three places? Westminster house looks really nice, except it's a bit pricey, but does the price include meals also? TC looks a bit dirty =X
Also, would living off campus interfere with my college experiences? Because I'm afraid that I won't be able to meet as many people living off campus, well not that I have a choice. @.@

How goes it fellow FPFer!

I’m a strong supporter of TC. WH house has private bathrooms so you won’t be interacting much with anyone other than the 4 people you share a room with.

Here’s why TC is awesome:

All of the complaints I saw about TC were related to the management, but TC is under new management this year. Also half of it is being completely redone this summer. Also when I say that it’s cheaper than the units (and wayy cheaper than clark kerr) I also included the largest off campus meal plan in my math.

Anywho I’m trying to get FPF people to choose TC, it could be an awesome dorm if there’s alot of us.

yeah I would like that too, alot of FPFs together to get through the first semester of school. But westminster has a beautiful, like just amazing outerior where as TC isnt…as appealing. So I don’t know I’m trying to decide between the two. The price isnt really a problem its more the social life that I am concerned about. =T

I like TC’s exterior more it’s like living in a city. Anywho I’m the same way concerning social life which is why I picked TC because it has public bathrooms. Haha that sounds so wierd when you type it out.

it does lolll but i agree with you on the bathroom…issue…LOL i heard currently 21 fpf students have signed up for tc, seems like alot. i wonder what the number is for westminster

if i apply for westminister
is there even a good chance of me getting housing there? because the application fee is$50 and thats risking a lot!

im a spring admit who didn’t get a housing offer the first rounds, im hoping to get chosen during the second rounds but i plan on applying to TC. is westminister worth it?

uhh this semester tc had lots of problems. Elevator kept on breaking and won’t be fixed until winter break is over. They also had a huge mice problem :/

Haha TC is awsome! Elevator’s down, mice are running around, roaches live in the bathrooms, and mold is growing out of the carpet… common, what else can you ask for?

How’s about some lock issues with the front door?
