WF Application v. Common App - Pros & Cons, anybody have a preference?

Is there an advantage to using one or the other?

Does WF prefer its own application?

Anybody know if there is a statistical difference in acceptance rates?

Other opinions?

I doubt there is a difference in acceptance rates that is correlated to the content of each app- there might be more people accepted who used the wf application because it means they applied early decision and were more likely to get accepted

Personally i really liked the WF app to begin with and now looking at the common app i love it even more. I think it’s way more unique and interesting and provides more opportunities to express the kind of student/person you are. While the common app is definitely more convenient, if you’re seriously considering Wake, I would say it’s definitely worth the extra time to do their own application- plus it’s way more fun to answer. That said if WF is more of a “maybe” school for you and you’re not totally into it but still want to apply, the common app should be fine.
