WFU or UIUC?

I posted this in the WFU forum, but I wanted to see if anyone here had any insight.

I got my WFU financial aid package today. It's definitely making the choice complicated. UofI gave me absolutely $0 in financial aid (purely loans totaling $33,000). WFU is offering scholarships that bring their cost down, well below UofI's.

My question is which school will offer me better opportunities down the road in business? I'm looking at doing something in the banking industry specifically. What school would you recommend for this?

What about in terms of getting an MBA from a top school? Which school would set me up for that MBA from a top school?

What about starting salary wise? Internships? Are they as abundant as they seem to be at UIUC?

I know there's a lot of questions there. So, if you can only answer one question, I'd like to know what school you'd choose and perhaps why?

Thank you so much!

I think both schools have excellent Business schools. Do you have to apply to the Business school at WFU or are you automatically enrolled upon admittance to the school as a freshman?
Also, I have heard that WFU has severe grade deflation in their business classes, would that effect entrance to an MBA program? Undergrad GPA?

Also, you have to decide if you want a big school or small school?

As for starting salaries, there is no guarantee for either school, but check out the UIUC business school website and it will give you some facts about recent grads, salaries and internships etc. Maybe WFU has the same…
